ElectronSounds

The home of  Your Fathers Music (YFM) - Now with new songs!

YFM is a side project of mine to create music using various tools via computer. Several different loop mixing packages were used in the creation of the music presented here. All music is free for private listening, any other use is granted by special permission, contact me for more information eMail YFM

Most of the songs have strong Dance, Electronica and R&B influences. Some of my influences include Juno Reactor, The Crystal Method, Chemical Brothers, Delirium, Enigma, Goldfrapp and Banco de Gaia. Many different styles make it into my music. I have to say, this definitely isn't 'My Fathers Music'. Don't let the name confuse you, the music isn't from the 40s, or even the 70s.

The first album, simply titled 'YFM'

Most of this album is fairly rough. Final mixing is, well, non existent. I was learning to use the tools and it shows in a couple of the songs. Still there are some gems in the rough, 'Running from Nothing' and 'Um Hum Hum Ready' being two of my favorites from this set. Thanks to a hard drive crash I lost the arrangement files for these songs thus they are presented unfinished.
